About: Tots Ballet Courses

2021/22

Tots Ballet is taken as a course of six weeks in length, where each child attending will show a significant improvement within both their dancing and confidence from week one to week six of lessons, provided that attendance has been maintained throughout.

This course is suitable for children who are walking, right through to those children who are not yet at primary school and wish to attend a fun and engaging morning activity with a parent or guardian. The youngest child we have had taking part has been age eleven months (she is still participating at age five), and the oldest child that has taken one of our Tots Ballet Courses was age four years.

Tots Ballet Courses are a great way for a child who have not attended our main school to try a one-off course of lessons, without the commitment to our Annual Membership Fee and associated uniform costs which are expected almost immediately upon acquiring a place.

The Tots Ballet programme is parent lead. This allows a child to build a great foundation and sense of security within their dancing through the parent supporting their child’s learning. This is an excellent way to introduce your child to the wonderful world of ballet in a fun and engaging way.

Our highly experienced and enthusiastic teaching faculty deliver a programme which has been created specifically for this age group which will develop your child’s co-ordination, muscle-tone and rhythm. In addition to this, your child’s self-esteem and confidence will flourish as our programme allows your child to communicate their thoughts, feelings and ideas in a non-verbal way.

Tots Ballet session times are as follows:

Thursday from 10.00-10.35am in The Studio, Antrim Road, Glengormley.
Saturday from 12.30-1.05pm in The Studio, Antrim Road, Glengormley.
The cost of the course is £42 for the full course of six weeks.

This includes:

One class weekly with a fully qualified and insured teacher
Reward system weekly to motivate and encourage the children
Certificate upon completion of the course

Children who complete the course are welcome to take the course as many times as the children do learn by the repetition and routine of these lessons. Some also may wish to progress onto our main ballet school classes, dependent on availability.
