Results & Achievements

At JK Ballet, we take great pride in the progress and accomplishments of our pupils. Our results reflect not only a high standard of training, but also the dedication, commitment, and passion shown by every dancer.

Examination Results

We are proud to maintain a sustained 100% examination pass rate year on year. In the June 2025 examination session, every pupil achieved either a Merit or Distinction, highlighting both their hard work and the quality of training provided.

We were delighted to celebrate these achievements at our Awards Ceremony in September 2025 and now look ahead to the June 2026 examination session with continued focus and anticipation.

Scholarships & Performance Opportunities

JK Ballet pupils have performed at the Associated Board of Dance Scholarship Awards in Birmingham, demonstrating their ability to perform confidently at a high level.

We are also proud that Mia Dunlop, Grade 3, has been selected to compete at the A.B.D. Scholarship Awards in February 2026.

Competitive Ballet

JK Ballet dancers continue to excel in competitive ballet. Phoebe Shephard has qualified to compete solo in the Mini Ballet Division at the Dance World Cup as part of Team Northern Ireland in July 2026, an outstanding achievement at an international level.

National Recognition

Our dancers continue to gain recognition beyond the studio. In 2025, two JK Ballet pupils were ranked among the Top 100 dancers in the UK at the UK Young Dancer Classical Awards.

Awards & Nominations

JK Ballet was named a finalist for Highest Performing Ballet School at the 2024 NI Dance Awards.

In 2025, Miss Judith was nominated for Dance Teacher of the Year at the Golden Dance Awards. In the same year, the Judith Keyes School of Ballet was named a Finalist for Ballet Dance School of the Year.
