Baby Ballet at JK Ballet

What is it?
Baby Ballet is a gentle and joyful introduction to the world of ballet, designed especially for younger children. It’s a magical first step into dance that little ones look forward to each week.
Over time, children who attend regularly show wonderful progress -not just in their dancing, but in their confidence too.
Who is it suitable for?
Baby Ballet is perfect for children who are confidently walking up until pre-school age.
It’s a fun and engaging Saturday morning activity where children explore movement with the comfort and support of their parent or guardian.
Can a parent attend?
Yes - Baby Ballet is a parent-led programme, meaning a parent or guardian must attend.
This helps children feel safe and secure as they explore movement, while giving you the opportunity to support and share in their very first dance experience. It’s also a lovely bonding activity.
Can siblings or partners come too?
For health and safety, we maintain a 1 adult : 1 child ratio.
-
Another adult (e.g. a partner) is very welcome to attend instead of you on a different week
-
We cannot accommodate multiple adults at the same time
-
One additional child under 6 months is permitted for feeding purposes (must remain in a carrier or car seat throughout)
What if my child is shy?
That’s completely normal!
Children are welcome to:
-
Stay close to their parent
-
Watch and take their time
-
Join in when they feel ready
There is no pressure at all - confidence builds naturally over time
